Albuquerque, NM – Injury Vehicle Collision on Benavides Rd

Albuquerque, NM (May 24, 2024) – On Friday, May 24, at least one person sustained injuries following a traffic accident in the Albuquerque area. The crash was first reported at the 10024 block of Benavides Road SW early that morning, around 8:03 a.m. The injured parties were treated by attending medical personnel before being transferred to a local hospital for additional treatment.

At this time, the extent of the resulting injuries has not been determined. The circumstances leading to the collision have not been reported at this time. The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present, and the roadway was later reopened after tow trucks were able to clear the resulting debris.
