Albuquerque, NM – Injury Wreck at Chelwood Park Blvd & Copper Ave

Albuquerque, NM (September 27, 2024) – On Friday, September 27, there were reported injuries after a car accident in the Albuquerque area. The collision took place at the corner of Chelwood Park Boulevard NE and Copper Avenue NE early that morning around 3:40 a.m. At least one person at the scene was injured. 

Emergency responders were dispatched to provide aid to the involved parties. At this time, the severity and number of the resulting injuries have not been determined. Ambulances were available to transport the crash victims to local hospitals for additional treatment. The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews worked to clear the scene. Tow trucks were later sent to remove the resulting wreckage and other debris. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in the hands of local law enforcement officials, and more updates will be provided as it continues.
