Albuquerque, NM – Injury Wreck at I-25 & Ave Cesar Chavez

Albuquerque, NM (January 28, 2025) – At least one person was hurt in the aftermath of a car crash in Albuquerque at the intersection of Interstate 25 SB near Avenida Cesar Chavez SE on Monday, January 27. The accident was first reported that afternoon around 2:26 p.m. that night. Emergency crews were quickly dispatched to render aid to the involved parties. 

The crash victims were provided medical aid at the scene, and those requiring further treatment were transferred by ambulance to local hospitals. The severity and number of the resulting injuries have not been determined. The area was temporarily closed while emergency responders were present. Tow trucks were needed to remove the resulting wreckage and reopen the roadway to outside traffic. Local law enforcement officials are handling the ongoing accident investigation.
