Albuquerque, NM – Major Injuries in Car Accident on Central Ave

Albuquerque, NM (July 17, 2024) – On Tuesday, July 16, there were confirmed injuries following an auto accident in the Albuquerque area. Late that night, around 8:02 p.m., the crash took place at the 801 block of Central Avenue NE. At least one person involved in the crash was hurt, and emergency crews were dispatched to render aid to the involved parties. 

The roadway was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present, and tow trucks were needed to clear the site of the resulting debris and reopen the area to outside traffic. No further information on the crash is currently available. Local law enforcement officials are handling the ongoing accident investigation, and more information will be provided as the investigation continues.
