Albuquerque, NM – Major Injury Collision at Central Ave & Clayton St

Albuquerque, NM (August 31, 2024) – On Friday, August 30, there were reported injuries in the aftermath of a car accident in Albuquerque. That night around 11:26 p.m., the collision took place at the intersection of Central Avenue NW and Clayton Street SW. The crash victims were treated by attending medical personnel at the scene. 

At least one person was hurt, but the severity of the related damages has not been determined. The injured parties were later transferred to a local hospital for additional treatment. No further updates on the conditions of the injured parties have been provided. The area was temporarily closed until tow trucks were able to remove the resulting wreckage and other debris. No further information on the accident is currently available. However, local law enforcement officials are handling the ongoing crash investigation.
