Albuquerque, NM - Major Injury Crash at I-40 & Juan Tabo Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (October 29, 2024) - A serious car accident in Albuquerque on Tuesday, October 29, required support from local emergency units. That morning around 2:47 a.m., the crash was first reported on Interstate 40 WB near Juan Tabo Boulevard NE. There were confirmed injuries at the scene, and the involved parties were provided immediate medical aid by attending paramedics. 

Those requiring further support were later transferred to nearby hospitals by ambulance. No updates on the conditions of the crash victims have been provided at this time. The roadway was temporarily closed as emergency crews and local authorities worked to clear the scene. The area was later reopened to outside traffic after tow trucks were able to remove the wreckage and other resulting debris. No additional updates are currently available.
