Albuquerque, NM - Major Injury Crash at Rio Grande Blvd & Aspen Ave

Albuquerque, NM (December 6, 2024) - On Thursday, December 5, there were confirmed injuries following a car accident in the Albuquerque area. The crash occurred at the corner of Rio Grande Boulevard NW and Aspen Avenue NW that afternoon around 3:32 p.m. The injured parties were treated at the scene by attending medical personnel before being transferred to local hospitals for additional treatment. 

The area was temporarily shut down as emergency crews were present at the crash site. The resulting debris had to be cleared by tow trucks, and the roadway was later reopened to outside traffic. No additional information on the accident is currently available.
