Albuquerque, NM - Major Vehicle Accident on Central Ave near Atrisco Vista Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (July 29, 2023) - A car crash happened in Albuquerque on the evening of July 29. Shortly before 10:00 p.m., emergency responders, including EMTs, police, and fire crews, went to the crash site to help the people involved. 

Sources say the accident took place on Central Avenue near Atrisco Vista Boulevard. Two or more vehicles collided for reasons still under police investigation. 

At least one person was in need of emergency medical care at the scene. They were treated by paramedics before being taken to area hospitals for further medical treatment. 

Their names have not been reported at this time. The roadway was closed for an extended period of time while emergency responders worked in the area, forcing local drivers to find alternate routes.
