Albuquerque, NM - One Killed, Others Hurt in Racing Accident on Coors Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (January 15, 2024) - On Sunday, January 14, one person was killed and others were injured after a racing-related accident in the Albuquerque area. The crash occurred on Coors Boulevard near Hanover Road early that morning at around 12:30 a.m. Local reports indicated that two drivers were racing down Coors Boulevard when one crashed. 

The driver was ejected and killed in the collision. Other occupants involved in the crash were injured and hospitalized for treatment. The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present. 

At this time, no updates on the accident are currently available. The identities of the involved parties have been withheld. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in the hands of local law enforcement officials, and more information will be released as it continues.
