Albuquerque, NM - Pedestrian Injured in Crash at 86th St & Sage Rd

Albuquerque, NM (August 31, 2023) - There were reported injuries after a pedestrian accident in Albuquerque on Thursday afternoon, August 31. 

The crash occurred at around 1:36 p.m. at the intersection of 86th Street SW and Sage Road SW. A 26-year-old was walking near the intersection when they were hit by an oncoming vehicle. Emergency responders were quickly dispatched to the scene. The injured party was reportedly alert when paramedics arrived and was bleeding excessively as a result of the impact. 

The crash victim was later hospitalized for additional treatment. No updates on their condition have been provided at this time. 

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in progress. More information will made public as it continues.
