Albuquerque, NM – Pedestrian Killed in Copper Ave NE Crash

Albuquerque, NM (October 29, 2023) – On Friday evening, officers with the Albuquerque Police Department assisted the Albuquerque Fire Rescue at the scene of a major automobile accident that claimed one person’s life.

The incident was reported at around 10:00 p.m. on October 27.

According to the Albuquerque Police Department, a pedestrian was struck by an eastbound white Dodge Ram pickup truck on Copper Avenue Northeast in the area near Espejo Street Northeast.

The pedestrian sustained fatal injuries as a result of the crash. The victim was declared dead on site.

The accident is currently being investigated by authorities.
