Albuquerque, NM – Pedestrian Killed in Crash at Central Ave & 86th St

Albuquerque, NM (July 31, 2025) – On Tuesday, July 29, there were fatal injuries after an auto-pedestrian accident in the Albuquerque area. The fatal crash took place at the corner of Central Avenue and 86th Street SW late that night at around 9:30 p.m. Local reports revealed that the victim was on foot when they were hit by an oncoming motor vehicle. 

Emergency crews were rushed to the scene after being notified of a serious pedestrian-vehicle crash. Despite life-saving measures from attending medical personnel, the injured party suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The circumstances leading to the crash have not been determined. The identity of the deceased victim has been withheld. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the deadly accident is being managed by local law enforcement officials, and more updates will be provided as it continues.
