Albuquerque, NM - Pileup Crash with Injuries at I-25 & Jefferson St

Albuquerque, NM (September 27, 2023) - A multi-vehicle collision in Albuquerque left at least one person with injuries on Wednesday morning, September 27. 

At around 7:31 a.m., the accident was first reported on Interstate 25 SB near Jefferson Street NE. Three vehicles were reportedly involved in the crash. When emergency responders arrived, one person was reportedly lying on the roadway. 

The area was closed off for several hours while medical personnel were present. There were confirmed injuries at the scene, but the severity and number of resulting casualties have not yet been determined. 

No additional information on the accident has been provided at this time. 

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in progress.
