Albuquerque, NM – Serious Injuries in Collision on Central Ave

Albuquerque, NM (February 16, 2024) – On Thursday, February 15, at least one person suffered injuries after a serious auto accident in the Albuquerque area. The collision was reported that night at around 8:47 p.m. at the 5715 block of Central Avenue NE near Alvarado Drive SE. There were confirmed injuries at the scene, and emergency crews were quickly dispatched to render aid to the involved parties. 

The circumstances leading to the collision have not been determined. Ambulances were available to transport the crash victims to local hospitals for additional treatment. No updates on the conditions of the involved parties have been provided at this time. 

The area was temporarily closed until tow trucks were able to remove the resulting wreckage and other debris. No further information on the accident is currently available. Local law enforcement officials are handling the ongoing accident investigation.
