High-Speed Collisions in New Mexico
Statistics show that speed greatly increases the risk and severity of a car accident. It is a fundamental tenet of physics that fast driving greatly reduces vehicle control while increasing stopping distance, and this means that speeding drivers are less able to respond to unanticipated dangers on the road. Over 10,000 people are killed by speeding drivers annually, accounting for more than 25 percent of traffic fatalities nationwide. If a reckless driver breaks the law and causes a serious crash, they should be held responsible. That often means working closely with a diligent attorney to pursue a strong personal injury claim.
