Albuquerque, NM – Serious Injuries in Wreck at Central Ave & Atrisco Dr

Albuquerque, NM (September 27, 2024) – There were confirmed injuries after a car accident in the Albuquerque area on Thursday, September 26. The crash occurred late that night around 10:08 p.m. at the corner of Central Avenue NW and Atrisco Drive NW. Emergency crews were dispatched to provide aid to the involved parties. 

At least one person involved in the collision suffered injuries. The severity and number of the resulting injuries have not yet been reported. Those requiring further treatment were later transferred to local hospitals for additional support. The area was temporarily shut down while emergency responders were present, and tow trucks were needed to remove the resulting wreckage and other debris. No additional information on the accident is currently available. Local law enforcement officials are handling the ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash.
