Albuquerque, NM – Serious Injury Collision at Central & New York Ave

Albuquerque, NM (July 1, 2024) – On Sunday, June 30, at least one person sustained injuries in a car crash in Albuquerque. Late that evening around 10:18 p.m., the collision was first reported at the intersection of Central Avenue NW and New York Avenue NW. There were confirmed injuries at the scene, but the extent and number of the related damages have not been determined. 

The injured parties were treated at the scene by attending medical personnel. Ambulances were available to transport the crash victims to local hospitals for additional support. No updates on the conditions of the involved parties have been provided. Local authorities advised nearby motorists to avoid the scene and to prepare for significant delays, while tow trucks worked to clear the site and reopen the area to outside traffic. Local law enforcement officials are handling the ongoing accident investigation.
