Albuquerque, NM – Two Killed in Rollover Crash on Unser Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (April 6, 2024) – Two victims have lost their lives as a result of a rollover accident that occurred early Friday morning on the west side of Albuquerque. The Albuquerque Police Department and firefighters were called to the scene at around 1:00 a.m. on April 5.

According to official reports, a white Infiniti G37, which was being driven by Benjamin Guiang, was traveling on Unser Boulevard in the area near Western Trail Northwest during the morning hours. As the vehicle proceeded forward, it crossed from the east Lane and crashed into the west shoulder of the road. The vehicle then continued forward and collided with a street sign before becoming airborne.

A man and woman were ejected from the vehicle. Both victims were fatally injured and pronounced deceased at the scene. One additional passenger and the driver were in the vehicle. However, it is not known if they were injured. Guiang was injured in the crash and transported to an area hospital for emergency care. He was subsequently arrested as a result of this accident. At this time, the circumstances surrounding the accident are being investigated.
