Albuquerque, NM – University Blvd & Arbus Dr Crash with Injuries

Albuquerque, NM (September 4, 2024) – There were confirmed injuries following a car accident in Albuquerque early on Wednesday, September 4. At around 8:09 a.m., the collision was first reported at the corner of University Boulevard SE and Arbus Drive SE. All eastbound lanes were closed as a result of the crash. 

At least one person involved in the crash was reportedly injured. At this time, the number and severity of the resulting injuries have not been confirmed. Emergency crews were present to provide aid to the injured parties. Those requiring further treatment were later hospitalized by ambulance. The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present. Tow trucks were dispatched to clear the scene and to reopen the roadway to outside traffic. Local law enforcement officials are handling the ongoing investigation into the cause of the collision.
