Albuquerque, NM - Vehicle Crash Ends in Injuries on I-40 near Coors Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (June 10, 2023) - On the afternoon of June 9, a car accident happened in Albuquerque that ended in injuries and traffic delays. The collision occurred at around 12:32 p.m. for reasons still under local law enforcement investigation. 

Reports from authorities show the incident occurred at around 10:30 a.m. when two or more cars crashed on Interstate 40 near Coors Boulevard/milepost 155. At least one individual was in need of emergency medical care on-site. 

EMTs helped those with injuries at the crash scene before transporting seriously injured patients to local hospitals for further care. Currently, their identities have not been reported. 

Few details are currently available to report concerning the crash and its surrounding circumstances. 

Police in Albuquerque continue to investigate the accident.
