Albuquerque, NM – Wreck at I-40 & Rio Grande Blvd Ends in Injury

Albuquerque, NM (December 3, 2024) – At least one person suffered injuries following a traffic accident in Albuquerque on Monday, December 2. Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene at around 5:58 p.m. on Interstate 40 WB near Rio Grande Boulevard NW. There were confirmed injuries at the scene, but the extent of the related damages has not yet been reported. 

The injured parties were treated at the scene by attending medical personnel, and those requiring additional aid were transferred to local hospitals by ambulance for additional support. No updates on the conditions of the crash victims have been provided. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in progress.
