Newkirk, NM - Car Accident on I-40 Results in Injuries

Newkirk, NM (May 23, 2025) - At least one person sustained injuries in the aftermath of an auto accident in the Newkirk area on Wednesday, May 21. The collision took place that morning at around 8:15 a.m. on Interstate 40 near mile marker 295. Emergency responders were quickly dispatched to provide aid to the involved parties. 

The crash victims were treated at the scene by attending medical personnel. Ambulances were available to transport the injured parties to a local hospital for further support.
