Santa Fe, NM (April 9, 2023) - On the morning of April 5, a car wreck happened in Santa Fe that ended in injuries. According to local officials, the wreck occurred at approximately 10:50 a.m.
Reports from authorities show the vehicles collided on Interstate 25 near New Mexico 16. At least one person suffered injuries in the crash.
Police and paramedics worked to help those with injuries and transport those in need of further care to area hospitals.
The left lane of traffic was blocked while crews worked at the scene. Traffic was stopped back to New Mexico 22/exit 259. Authorities directed traffic while emergency crews worked in the area.
At this time, the cause of the incident has not been reported. Police in Santa Fe continue to investigate.
