Albuquerque, NM – Collision Ends in Injury at San Mateo & Montgomery Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (December 19, 2024) – On Wednesday, December 18, there were confirmed injuries resulting from a car crash in Albuquerque. Late that evening, around 9:07 p.m., emergency crews were dispatched to the scene at the crossing of San Mateo Boulevard NE and Montgomery Boulevard NE. At least one person involved was hurt, but the extent of the related damages has not been determined. 

The area was closed while emergency units were present. The injured parties were later transferred to local medical facilities after being treated at the scene. Tow trucks were needed to clear the resulting wreckage and reopen the road to outside traffic. The circumstances contributing to the crash have not yet been determined. No further information on the collision is currently available. Local law enforcement officials are managing an ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash, and more updates will be provided as it continues.
