Albuquerque, NM – At Least One Hurt in Collision at I-40 & Tramway Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (July 19, 2024) – At least one person sustained injuries following a serious car wreck in Albuquerque early on Thursday, July 18. The collision took place late that night around 9:04 p.m. on Interstate 40 WB near Tramway Boulevard NE. The vehicles involved in the crash were heavily damaged, and the area was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present. 

Paramedics were dispatched to provide aid to the involved parties. Those requiring further treatment were later hospitalized by ambulance. The severity and the number of the resulting injuries have not yet been provided. The roadway was later reopened after tow trucks were able to remove the resulting debris. No further information on the accident is currently available. However, local authorities are handling the ongoing accident investigation.
