Albuquerque, NM – Fatal Red Light Crash at Menaul & Eubank Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (August 5, 2024) – On Sunday, August 4, a driver was killed after a pileup crash in the Albuquerque area. The deadly accident took place at the corner of Menaul Boulevard NE and Eubank Boulevard NE that night around 6 p.m. Local reports revealed that a westbound vehicle on Menaul Boulevard ran a red light when it crashed into another car headed south on Eubank Boulevard. 

That vehicle then hit a third car stopped in the northbound lanes of Eubank Boulevard that was waiting to make a left turn. The driver of the second vehicle was ejected in the impact. The identities of the involved parties have not been provided. The other injured victims were transported to a local hospital for examination and further care. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is being managed by local law enforcement officials, and more information will be provided as it continues.
