Albuquerque, NM - Injuries Result from Car Crash on Central Ave near Coors Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (September 16, 2023) - A car crash was reported to police in Albuquerque on the afternoon of September 16. Shortly before 1:00 p.m., emergency crews went to the scene of an accident on Central Avenue. 

Paramedics, police, and fire crews were observed helping injured crash victims at the crash site on Central Avenue near Coors Boulevard. What caused the collision to occur is still under local law enforcement investigation at this time. 

One or more people were hurt in the accident. They received emergency medical care from paramedics at the scene and were transported to the hospital as needed. Their identities have not been reported at this time.

Authorities and EMTs remained at the scene for a prolonged period on Saturday, resulting in significant traffic delays. Police are still working to determine the cause of the crash.
