Albuquerque, NM (March 2, 2024) – The Albuquerque Police Department, firefighters, and emergency medical services were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Friday, March 1.
At approximately 5:50 p.m., an unknown number of vehicles collided in the 3800 block of Rutledge Road Northeast. The incident caused significant disruptions throughout the area as emergency crews remained at the scene. Police and firefighters spent nearly 30 minutes clearing the roadway and reopening the street for traffic. At least one person was injured in the accident and had to be transported to a local hospital for further medical care. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
