Albuquerque, NM – Injury Crash at Jefferson St & Balloon Museum Dr

Albuquerque, NM (September 19, 2024) – A serious auto accident in Albuquerque on Thursday, September 19, required support from local emergency units. At around 9:12 a.m., the crash was first reported at the crossing of Jefferson Street NE and Balloon Museum Drive NE. There were confirmed injuries at the scene, and the involved parties were provided immediate medical aid by attending paramedics.

Those requiring further support were later transferred to nearby hospitals by ambulance. No updates on the conditions of the crash victims have been provided at this time. The roadway was temporarily closed as emergency crews and local authorities worked to clear the scene. The area was later reopened to outside traffic after tow trucks were able to remove the wreckage and other resulting debris. No additional updates are currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is being handled by local law enforcement.
