Albuquerque, NM – Injury Wreck at Central Ave & Bryn Mawr Dr

Albuquerque, NM (September 7, 2024) – On Friday, September 6, at least one person suffered injuries following a traffic accident in the Albuquerque area. That evening around 11:38 p.m., the accident was first reported at the crossing of Central Avenue NE and Bryn Mawr Drive NE NE. The injured parties were treated by attending paramedics before being transferred to local hospitals for further evaluation and care. 

The severity and number of the resulting injuries were not provided in the initial reports. The roadway was closed while emergency crews were present. Tow trucks were later needed to remove the resulting debris and reopen the area to outside traffic. The circumstances leading to the collision have not been determined. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in the hands of local law enforcement officials, and more updates will be released as the investigation continues.
