Albuquerque, NM – Major Injuries in Crash at I-25 & Gibson Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (January 26, 2025) – On Saturday, January 25, there were confirmed injuries resulting from a car accident in the Albuquerque area. Early that afternoon around 2:39 p.m., the collision took place on Interstate 25 NB on-ramp near Gibson Boulevard. At least one person involved was hurt, but the severity and number of resulting injuries have not yet been determined. The crash victims were treated by attending medical personnel before being transferred to local hospitals for additional treatment. 

At this time, the circumstances leading to the collision have not been made public. The roadway was temporarily closed while paramedics were present, and tow trucks were needed to clear the scene and reopen the road to outside traffic. No further information on the crash is currently available. Nonetheless, an ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in the hands of local law enforcement officials.
