Albuquerque, NM - Major Injury Crashes at Gibson & Yale Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (October 18, 2023) - On Wednesday, October 18, at least one person was hurt following a traffic accident in the Albuquerque area. 

Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene at around 5:59 a.m. Two or more vehicles collided at the corner of Gibson Boulevard SE and Yale Boulevard SE, and there were confirmed injuries at the scene. The severity and number of resulting injuries have not been determined at this time. 

The injured parties were provided medical aid before being transferred to local medical facilities. The roadway was closed until tow trucks were able to remove the resulting wreckage and reopen the road to outside traffic. 

No further information on the crash has been provided at this time. 

Local law enforcement officials are handling the ongoing crash investigation.
