Albuquerque, NM - NMSP Involved in Injury Crash at Wyoming Blvd & Central Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (April 21, 2025) - There were reported injuries after a three-vehicle crash in the Albuquerque area on Sunday, April 20. The incident took place at the corner of Wyoming Boulevard and Central Avenue that afternoon at around 12:20 p.m. A police vehicle, a gray Infiniti, and a black Nissan were involved in the crash. 

Local reports revealed that an officer driving a New Mexico State Police vehicle was T-boned twhile raveling through the intersection. The impact caused the car to overturn. Emergency responders were quickly dispatched to provide aid to the involved parties. The officer and driver of the Infiniti were injured in the crash and transported to a local hospital for treatment. The area was temporarily closed as local authorities were present. No updates on the conditions of the involved parties have been provided. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the incident is in progress.
