Albuquerque, NM - Pedestrian Fatally Hit at I-40 & Atrisco Vista Blvd

Albuquerque, NM (December 20, 2023) - On Monday, December 18, a pedestrian was killed after a traffic accident in Albuquerque. The deadly crash was reported on Interstate 40 at Exit 149 near Atriscto Vista Boulevard at around 10:25 p.m. The victim was traveling on foot when they were hit by an oncoming motor vehicle. 

The injured pedestrian suffered fatal injuries and was later pronounced dead by attending medical personnel. At this time, the identity of the deceased party has been withheld. No further updates on the fatal crash are currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the fatal accident is in the hands of local law enforcement officials, and more information will be provided as it progresses.
