Albuquerque, NM - Pedestrian-Motorcycle Crash with Injury at Coors Blvd & Sequoia Rd

Albuquerque, NM (April 3, 2025) - On Tuesday, April 2, a pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries after a collision in the Albuquerque area. The incident took place late that night at around 7:40 p.m. at the crossing of Coors Boulevard NW and Sequoia Road NW. It was later revealed that a motorcyclist struck a pedestrian. 

Emergency crews were quickly dispatched to provide aid to the involved parties. The motorcyclist involved was conscious when paramedics arrived. The injured pedestrian was transported by ambulance to the University of New Mexico Hospital in critical condition. The rider was also hurt and hospitalized for treatment. Southbound Coors Boulevard was temporarily closed while local authorities were present. No further information on the incident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is being handled by local law enforcement officials.
