Albuquerque, NM – Wrong-Way Driver Causes Injury Crash at Paseo Del Norte & 2nd St

Albuquerque, NM (January 2, 2024) – On Saturday, December 30, there were confirmed injuries after a collision involving a wrong-way driver in the Albuquerque area. The crash occurred at the crossing of Paseo Del Norte and 2nd Street late that night at around 9 p.m. Local reports revealed that a driver was heading west when they veered into eastbound traffic. 

The driver crashed into oncoming traffic, and the area was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present. Local authorities believe that alcohol was a factor in the crash.
