Albuquerque, NM – Collision at MLK Ave & Walter St Ends in Injury

Albuquerque, NM (November 3, 2024) – On Saturday, November 2, a car crash with injuries was reported in the Albuquerque area. The accident took place at the 601 block of Martin Luther King Avenue NE near Walter Street NE that evening around 9:14 p.m. The injured parties were provided aid at the scene by attending medical personnel. 

At least one person involved in the crash was hurt, but the number and severity of the related damages have not been determined. Local authorities advised local motorists to avoid the scene and to prepare for significant delays while emergency crews were present. The area was later reopened after tow trucks were able to remove the resulting wreckage. The crash victims were later transferred to local hospitals by ambulance. No additional information on the crash is currently available. However, local law enforcement officials are handling the ongoing accident investigation.
