Albuquerque, NM - Passenger Killed in Single-Vehicle Crash at Tramway Blvd & Comanche Rd

Albuquerque, NM (April 3, 2023) - A passenger was killed in a single-vehicle accident in the Albuquerque area on Saturday morning, April 1. 

The crash was reported at the corner of Tramway Boulevard and Comanche Road at around 5 a.m. Two people were traveling in a car when it veered off Tramway Boulevard. The vehicle proceeded to hit a utility pole and a traffic box. 

The car overturned, and the passenger was ejected. The victim was transported to the University of New Mexico Hospital, where they were later pronounced dead. No other information has been provided at this time. 

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is in progress.
